First time post,, Hello!!

Wanting to upgrade to 265/70-17's on 17x8 wheels. I need to know what offset to order. I prefer the wheels to not stick out any further than necessary. 1997 Tahoe 4dr 4x4, completely stock.

Truck is burgundy color, I'm looking at matte black wheels with machined lip (like Ion 182),, I think this will be a nice subtle upgrade.

Anyone know the stock wheel specs,, I keep getting conflicting answers from my online searches and tire shops.

thanks in advance.

If you stick with about a 4.5 backspacing and have about a 0 offset you should be fine or a positive offset. I am running a 17x9 with 4.5BS and -12 offset and they are about even with the flares

I think stock is like 16x7 and 5.5BS

Do you have any pics of your setup as you are looking at the truck from the rear? Id like to see how your wheels look in relation to the flares
