So i recently purchased a 96 tahoe and the 4 wheel drive wont work. The 2 wheel hi light comes on only when i turn the lights on. I press the 4 wheel low while in neutral and nothing no click sound or anything just stays on 2 wheel hi no blinking lights either. Any suggestions?

Also new the the site as well.

Yeah, I would look at changing your actuator.

If you want to stay stock, check out LMC Truck. The first pic will replace it with an OEM style actuator.

The second pic, you can buy the upgraded harness. And at the bottom, they offer an actuator eliminator. Seems like a good route to go, but I have no experience with it. Thinking about getting these if my actuators fail. Maybe someone on the forum can give their testimony.

Not a problem. When you do swap them in, please post here and give us a review on them. I would like to know, so it will help my decision if I run into that issue.
