My 1998 Tahoe had a failure of the tranny, it locked up causing the bell housing to break and the crank to twist. My Tahoe has 200000 miles on it. I pulled the trans and engine and rebuilt them. I then decided to rebuild the front end. All this took me 9 months. I'm putting everything back in now and I have forgotten where all electrical brackets and the wiring goes to keep it safe from heat. Does anyone have any pictures or is there a spot online I can find diagrams? Any help is appreciated.

Same Problem Here

Craig,

Sorry I can't offer much help, as I am having a similar problem, so I'll be watching the responses to your post closely. I didn't do a complete rebuild, just replaced two cracked heads. I took some pictures that will probably help, but I anticipate I'll have somethings that I won't know where to put them. For example, I got two remanufactured heads and the machine shop pulled the old bracket bolts from my old heads. I'm not sure exactly what holes to put some of the bolts back in, particularly on the back of the passenger side head where the grounding wire attaches along with a couple of brackets.

I'll be working on my 99 Yukon tonight and most of the weekend, so if I have anything of any interest to you I'll be sure and share it.

Good Luck!

Thanks for e diagrams they did the trick! I also went and found a Tahoe in my are and went and took pictures. I'm having a problem now with the front brake lines leaking where they bolt to the caliper. Should there be a washer between the block and the caliper? I had two crush washers on both bolts but maybe I put it together wrong.
