1998 Yukon blowing transfer case fuse

I am in the same boat ! #2 blows every time I turn key on . If I pull #24 it does not blow #2. But the neutral light is on and 4 high /2hi flash for about 3.seconds before blowing #2

shift motor or wiring is likely cause if blowing number #2.
