1999 4dr tahoe 5.7 help

i have a 1999 4 door tahoe 5.7 it has 121000 miles and all of a sudden now shakes after 65 and 70 and if i slow down 2 fast it feels like it wants to stall anything under 65 is fine as soon as 65 hits the check engine light comes on and if i turn the truck off then on the check engine light goes away. i just put new spark plugs new distributor wires fuel filter and still happens had it at mech and they checked it out it said miss firing then you turn the truck off and the error goes away so i dont know please help

try a cam sinsor. it sounds like timing what your saying.

+1 must be cam sensor because it throws the light on. One other thing could be the EGR valve but i think it would do it at all speeds and idle rough.

distributor gear very common for wearing out just replaced mine in my 99

EGR might be stock open or closed. try sinsors 1st. ether cam or crank sinsor.

ok so i took the truck for another spin when i get the rpms up to 3500 and at 75 it starts misfiring and then the check engine light comes on so i ran the truck to my friends shop plugged it in and now the code says misfiring in cyclinder number 5 but if i turn the truck off then on the error and light turn off. again i replaced all plugs wires and distributor. thanks for all your help
