1999 Police Tahoe

I am new to this Forum and my first post. I have been trying to learn all I can about my Tahoe and have something I need information on.

1- I have switch on the dash that says Aux lights and I do not see any.

2-There is a cover plate over some relays and fuses. No Idea what they are for.

3- There is a DRL switch that turns the daytime running lights on/off. Seems many others here don't have a switch.

Were these factory installed or aftermarket?

I also have a '99 police package tahoe but I have not of that stuff on mine and have never seen any that has that stuff on them niether. Either the police department that had yours or a previous owner before you has done that stuff.

Probably switches for some sort of light package the truck had on it when it was an emergency vehicle. As for the DRL switch, many police vehicles have that switch to allow for officers to turn the DRL's off for various law enforcement reasons whereas the general public may not have that option.
