Any ideas on tire rubbing? 99 Tahoe 4dr, McGaughy 2/3 drop, spindles, hangers and shackles. 18x9.0 wheels, 255/55R18 tires. The fender lip is peeling all 4 tires like an apple when bottom on bumps. Is backspacing an issue? What can I do? I'd like to go a little lower but not until I get this problem solved. Any help is appreciated!

but a 2/3 thats a very mild drop please post a side view showing how far your tires poke out as earlier stated it could def be an offset issue

Sounds like an offset issue, I have 20's and my hoe's back fender sits 29-1/2" from ground and no rubbing at all and I am going 3" lower and still wont have a problem. What is your measurement from ground to fender in rear? You could always get air adjustable shocks for rear...

I refer all things related to dropped hoes to imtbear though... So roll your fenders.

I know rolling your fenders is the way to go but all I had at the time was a grinder and a cut off wheel. What I did was take some tape and layout a straight line for a guide. Then then cut out the lip. Mine do not rub anymore with a 2/4 drop and 265/40/22s
