I’ve got a 2004 Escalade that I would like to lower 2/4. I currently have 2016 Escalade rims with 285/45/22 tires would I have any rubbing issues with these rims/tires? I’m going to use 2” lowering spindles up front and 4” lowering springs in the rear besides that would I need to do anything else suspension wise?

Thanks

I can let you know next week lol my wheels are 22 with the same tire size and I have the same drop. Not sure of the offset or backspacing difference between our wheels because I don't know mine haha

Sounds good besides cutting the balljoint bolt in the front did you need to do anything else? I’m pretty sure you did drop spindles too

Just theupper ball joints bolt. I need new UCAs tho I found that using a big C-Clamp to pull the UCA down helped slot. I wish I did that initially. I screwd my BJs up by using vicegrips

I have 22s and only have a slight rub on the plastic behind my driver front tire. Not an issue at all, just keeps the plastic wheel well cover clean in the small 2 x 2 spot.
No catching or rubbing that would destroy or mess anything up.

Put Pirelli 285-45-22’s and a Belltech 2/5 lowing kit. Same minor issue as Mr Balll slight rub barley scrapes on dips at higher speeds than posted at left front wheel opening plastic trim.

I am running 305/40/22 on a 3/4 drop. Rubbing is very minimal.

I went 5/7 on 285/45/22s and the rubbing wasn't as bad as you would think lol

but since you are running a factory wheel and offset you should have very little to no rubbing up front. Like tony said you will need to trim some of the plastic liner at the back. I suggest the adjustable panhard bar, will make the trimming even less. Also flip the top shock bolts on the rear shocks while your in there.
