Just wanted to confirm that a 285 55/22 tire will then NOT fit on a 16 Yukon with a 1.5” front lift only. I want beefier sidewalls than my stock 285 45/22 tires. Is a 50 the only way to go with stock 22”rims? I don't mind modifying fender wells but want no rubbing. Thanks.
Ran Maxx Suspension at 1.75" with stock struts for a couple years with both 33x12.5x20 & 295x55x20. Very little rubbing issues and ONLY at full lock on the inner fender wells. Purchased the full 2.5"F & 1.5"R + 1.5" relocation links but as a part-time caretaker for my mother-in-law who has trouble enough getting in/out... it sits until I can upgrade to an electric step.
