2 door GMC Yukon body on GMT900 chassis

So yesterday this idea popped in my head and I want to know if it would work and what it would take to work. I know the length and wheelbase is longer so the rear axle would have to be moved forward and the chassis cut shorter as well as wiring issues, but if I swap in the original dash what else would be required? Would the body sit right in a crew cab chassis?

Crew Cab? Seriously? It'd have to be a regular cab short bed probably. You'd have to create new body mounts on the frame since I wouldn't think they would line up.

I would rather make a badass tube frame and just custom make it rather than cut up a normal frame and mod it to work. Im guessing ypu live in the north and your frame is rusty?

No I don't have the money to do such a thing but it's just curiosity due to the high amount of GM Duramax powered pickups that are popping up as salvage titled due to body damage with intact chassis and powertrains.

An older Duramax would be a lot easier to and cheaper to do a swap with.
