yea i hear that, 35's and my stock gears are like a school bus, i could only imagine 38's

he dont know what he is talking about he's just runnin his mouth. but yea atleast 4.88's maybe 5.13s

yea i was thinkin 5.13's would be good as well, i guess its more of a question of highway driving

Yes they are 1069's. I ordered the the 1059's. That is what I had on there before. When I opened the boxes when I got home I discovered that they had sent me 1069's. I called up 4WheelParts and they told me that there were 300 rims on back order of the 1059's in the 16x10. I had to wait a little over a week to get the 1069's in so I just kept them. I have enclosed a photo of the old wheels with 35's alongside one with 38's. I like the new wheels now that they are on the truck. As far as the way it drives, I can't tell much difference from the 35's to the 38's. I took it out on the highway today. I got it up to 65ish (I have not recalabrated the speedometer yet) The rpm was at 1500. The truck still has plenty of power and did not fell like it is being reved out. I am still going to have it re-geared. I have to figure out which way I'm going to go. I went to 4WheelParts and they said it would be either $1968.47 with out warranty and $2287.81 with warranty. This was a complete rebuild of the front and back as well as steam cleaning the parts and repainting the rear dif. The only off road this truck see's is going to a motocross track. It is a street truck. I have had it since it was brand new with 0 miles on it and now has 210,000 and still runs and looks new. There is still lots to do to make it right but it sure is fun.

new combo is nice, I like it way better than the old one. If you think the truck has power with the stock gears you are going to cream your shorts with new gears. I had 35" tires, 3.73 gears and I have a 383 and I was not happy until i got my 4.56....somedays i want 4.88. So go nothing less that a 4.88
