Ok all. I finally got around to replacing the TPS and the IAC again. The TPS seems to be fine, but the new IAC has a metal head on it. I put in on, but the idle will not drop below 1700 rpm. My problem must be not getting a good IAC. Here is a picture of what I took off the car first (left) the one I just took off (middle) and the new one (right). I am going to have to try another one. I might just have to go OEM. Also I am getting my knock sensor errors again for 1 and 2! I just replaced them 3 months ago. I am done with this truck. ugh

For some this was my original thread. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/thr...er-intake-manifold-gasket-replacement.108744/

you basically have to use a matching original one, been there tried that, it's funny too because you look them up and there is like 30 different ones that look very similar, has something to do with the length of the head on it if it's not identical it wont idle right.
Also while yo u have that off give it a good cleaning inside the port I used a rag and cleaner and just went at it for 10-15 minutes takes a bit to get them clean inside. Then when you have the right one on there it's going to take it a few minutes to correct it's self it's not just going to idle down right away

Dealer won't sell just the iac, they want to sell you the complete throttle body assembly. I tried already.

Looks like the OEM IAC is ACDELCO 17113598. This is listed as OEM for flex fuel, except traction control, 4 spd. which is everything that I have. Hope this one works for $100.

Did you use oem for knock sensors? I've read that these engines don't play well with aftermarket. Also, did you get new harness?

For the live data you posted in your original thread, saw that you're in open loop at warm idle. Is that normal? I'm in closed loop when warm at idle. It only goes open loop when decelerating (warm).

Every IAC I've replaced required a "cal" procedure be done after installation... does this one?

There is a cheating way that involves a specific order of operations similar to turn key on unplug IAC turn key off plug back in but I can't remember the order.
