2-way advanced remote

I just picked up a 2009 Z71 Tahoe yesterday and had the dealer also install the 2-way advanced remote. My question: is this remote suppose to come with an instruction booklet or something?

Never mind, I found where in guy that installed it stuck the booklet, it would have been nice to have left it with the rest of my information.
