This may have been asked and answered but i cant seem to find a clear answer. Here goes.....I know a Yukon/Tahoe is the rig for me! The thing is I need to have 3 shoulder belts across the middle row and i know thats from 2003 and up only. I see lots of 2000-2002 Yukons/Tahoes for wayyyyy cheaper than a 2003, so im wondering if the middle bench from a 2003-2006 will bolt right into a 2000-2002 Yukon/Tahoe. If it does, is it even worth my while.......im assuming i could get a middle row from the wreckers fairly easily.

Thoughts?

From my research they are interchangeable. I found that if u have a standard Yukon/tahoe then u have nonstick with that, meaning u can't interchange a standard with a xl/suburban. U can even change a bench with captain seats bolts right in. I'm looking for a pair of captains grey in color to trade for my 60/40 bench if u have let me know. In my area there are not a lot of salvage yards with these trucks so if u would from your area look for me thanks and I hope this helps u

Yeah, like mentioned above just make sure your new seats come out of a Tahoe instead of a Burban or out of a regular legnth Yukon instead of an XL, and they will bolt right up to your factory seat bolts.

Too funny......heres the newest wrinkle......i found a good deal on a 2003 Tahoe but it has no Third row bench. Wondering now if its the same deal in that i can put any 2000-2006 rear bench in. I guess the other question that comes up, on these models that didnt have the third row put in the factory or dealership, would they still have third row seat belts (mounted on the interior walls) or are those belts integrated in the seat???

partially asked and answered........just looked at pics on Edmunds.com and they do look integrated!

yeah as u found out, the 3rd row seatbelts are made in the seat. and good for you, the holes are already there for the brackets under the carpet. so all you have to do is get the brackets and bolt them in place and get you any short wheel base 3rd row seat and click it into place. just know that the burban and XL 3rd rows wont fit a tahoe or short yukon.
