Yeah man Avic D3 is where it's at. I have definitely noticed that the Navigation part of it takes some getting used to, but it really does work well once you get the hang out it. Very nice work on the install though, I thought it was bad enough fitting all the wires in behind on my 04. Can't imagine with the smaller room to work with that the 02 and older has. I'm slightly confused as to the point of Anthony's post? But it does look good...

Im starting to think that they didnt make a light gray dash bezel in the 03+ years....

say a few on ebay. under $60
came from denali's... i was gonna grab one until i saw the tan one i needed for my truck to put my D3 in my 2002 tahoe.

Haha I think Anthony and Daking are missing the point, Of course your double dins look clean in your 03+ trucks considering they come stock with a double din radio set-up. 00-02 take a lot of time, work, and effort to get it in there. You dont need a dash kit to put a double din in though, I didnt use one. It will end up just being a trim piece if there is extra room on any side of the radio. But yeah thanks for the compliments, took a while to get the parts and have it come together, very happy with it now. Next step is trimming the bottom of the bezel to not cover the cig lighter cover and ash tray

hey, thats real nice, but isnt that a double din bezel? I was just wondering.
Mine is a 2002 yukon denali and the dash is a little differant. It came with a din 1/2. thats what this is all about. I put a double Din In mine too. after doing a lot of cutting and triming the bezel was not too bad but I did a little fit, trim and a lil bondo and paint. I think turned out pretty nice.

thats nice and all but wasnt that a double din to begin with? that you came with it. Dont get me wrong, it looks good but to go from a din 1/2 is a whole different ball game. check mine out tell me what you think
