Hi - working on my sons 2001 2500 suburban. Noticed in the wiring diagram there is a fuel pump balance module. This might be my issue, but not sure where it is located. Thinking it might need to be replaced I scoured the internet but could find no reference to it for this truck. Does anyone have any clues that could help me (location and part number/source). Thanks

OK, this may have been a wild goose chase. I read on the internet that this truck had a module, but just got off the phone with a friend who is a mechanic that looked it up and told me all is handled by PCM - there is no module. He went in to his documentation to confirm. That would be a good reason I could not find the part!!!!

There are tuneable values in there, even for vehicles with just one tank.
Actually had my gas gauge tuned to be even more pessimistic about how much fuel is in it than it already is,
just to protect me and anyone I lend it to from too much hope.
