So my compressor just failed on my 2018 Tahoe with the Z85 package. I now get service leveling system. I assume since I have just over 100k on my Tahoe I'm going to need to replace the struts beside the compressor.

I'm also looking to do the front and could use suggestions for a slightly increased ride height. Not looking to go crazy or anything.

Struts are generally good for about 100k miles, so you are about due. I recommend staying with OEM equipment for strut replacement, but other folks in this Forum are happy with aftermarket equipment. If you want a slight lift in the front, you can purchase 1" spacers which will be installed on the bottom of the strut.

Yep, if you wanna do it the cheap way a 1” spacer is perfect. Gets the front up a noticeable amount, but not overpowering or making the ass look like it sags. Ran the wifes denali that way for over 100k miles with no issues until the magnetic struts started locking up (which is a common issue).

The rear air shocks eventually failed at 120k or so and i went with the common aftermarket replacements, arnott i think. Didnt have any issues with them while we still had it.
