My rear air hasn't been working for some time in my 01 Tahoe. This is the model with manual controls. When I turn the fan switch on I can hear the resistor click, but the blower does not engage. The actuators for temperature and location are working properly. I finally got around to taking the panel off to expose the rear blower. After doing some research I decided to go ahead and replace the resistor. That didn't change anything. I found a good deal on a blower motor and replaced that too. Still nothing. I used brand new AC Delco parts. I checked the grounds, they are good. I checked the HVAC fuses, they are good too. I checked the connector under the kick panel near the hood release, all is good there. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Here are some pictures. I am getting constant power to the brown wire with the fan off and on (Terminal C.) That's it. No power at the plug that goes from resistor to motor. Could my new resistor be junk?!

Try pulling off the trim piece on the bottom left below the parking brake. Once it's off you'll see a big wiring harness. Look for the orange wire on the harness and visually inspect it for burns.

I had the same issue. This was mine:

I simply cut the orange wire off of both sides of the harness and wired them together. Now I have working heat and air in the back.

Hope this helps. Let me know what you figure out.
