2001 Yukon ethanol or no?

Just bought a 2001 yukon xl. Just wondering if you can run that 10 percent ethanol fuel in them.

10 percent is fine. It's not some old school carberurated vehicle with rubber lines that rot out.

I think some of the regular gas around here has had up to 11% for years never had a problem with my 00

No need to run 100% gas. The 10-15% Ethanol blend is almost universal now and is fine to run, all the hoses are designed to handle it. Just don't get the E85 which is 85% Ethanol.

10% ethanol? You mean regular gas? I have never seen a gas pump (except ones that say "ETHANOL FREE") that doesn't have a "may contain up to 10% ethanol" label next to the handle.

Technically speaking it's anything over 51% these days! And it does not get higher than 83% either for street legal fuel. During the summer my local station was at 80% and now for winter is at 72%.
