Hello,

I have a 2002 escalade with 6.0 liter engine. Truck runs great and shifts good but I am just wondering if anyone else feels like a vibration in there feel at low rpms accelerating? I know engine and tranny vibration is normal but I was wondering it anyone replace engine mounts or tranny and noticed a differene.

You should not have vibration under load. You could have vehicle checked for codes at an auto parts store. Check spark plugs for condition. They should all look clean and be similar looking without excessive gap.

At night, use a water filled spray bottle to wet down the spark plug wires with the engine running. A bad wire will sometimes give off visible sparks that you can see in the dark.

You could have a coil starting to fail, or a fuel pump not giving enough pressure, or a fuel regulator going bad. I am assuming that the air cleaner has been checked/replaced recently.

Could be a bad universal joint drying up and going bad. Only way to find out is to pull both drive shafts and move the U joints around. If any of the joints feel "sticky" replace it.

Hello,

So, nothing has changed or got worse.. I am wondering to myself if its just the 6.0 liter engine and that's the way it runs. If my GF drives it she says its smooth as hell. Well, it is smooth its just maybe a 2002 vs a 2010 Tahoe can't in anyway be compared I'd say?

I replaced the plugs and wires Saturday. Truck continues to run good. I was told when I got it my U joint did looks dry so I think I am going to replace the front one which was suspect.

when I punch my 2006 Yukon XL Denali 6.0, I do feel a bit of a shutter. But it feels to me like it might just be worn frontend parts or worn suspension
