The L59 flex fuel injectors are a great "budget" OEM option to get higher flowrate. Just tell the person reflashing this so they'll know to adjust that on the tune.
When I swapped my 4.8 to a cammed 6.0 it'd run good, then not over the years. I finally got another tune(2nd tune) and this tuner told me the stock injectors were beyond maxed out, and I was lucky I didn't blow the motor up from being lean. Lesson learned--fortunately not a hard lesson learned.

So if my 5.3 goes I can direct swap a 6.0? Now I kinda hoping the 5.3 goes....lol

Visually, no one will be able to tell the difference
(unless they know exactly where to find the block's casting numbers and are willing to go looking).
You will need your pcm retuned, however.

EVERY GM LS is physically interchangeable with any other GM LS.
