Well, The title pretty much says it all. I'm not quite sure what the problem is or could be. It comes and goes honestly, but it's happened enough that I'm starting to get concerned. All of the spark plugs are "new" and the wires were changed about 8 months ago. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think you might need to get a scan, pull codes and data and see which cylinder(s) it is first. Then at least you'd have a starting point to begin identifying the issue.

Maybe the fuel isn't getting to the engine fast enough because of either dirty system or water in the gas

if its new plugs and wires and its only one cylinder ur getting a miss fire check the injector.

pop the plug off the injector and see if the motor misses at idle. if no change at all then i would look into changing the injector for that cylinder.

Check the coil pack as well...you could switch coil packs from cyl 3 to cyl 5...if the skip jump to cylinder 3 it'll be a coil, if it stays on cyl 5 than check the injector.
