Of course it's a little late right now but I will post up a how to with as many detailed pics as I can. As a warning this is only cost effective to some one who can do it on there own. Also pic out a set of fans from the junk yard a simple tape measure will do I know dodge intrepid fans will work but some of our models have different sized radiators so you will need to measure to make sure it fits. As far as I know the intrepid fans will fit a truck or Tahoe with the towing package aka larger radiator. I will get the size of mine and post it. Note mine in this install are not intrepid fans.

Ok so here is my how to. I'll try to be as detailed as I can and add pics as well. If I miss anything please feel free to ask.

So this is not using the pcm to control the fans which if done yourself is cheaper and still pretty efficient. Jumping right in.
1st you will need to remove the air intake tube from the tb and maf.
After that there will be two bolts on the top fan shroud that bolt it to the core support remove those. Then there are four plastic push pins that hold the top shroud to the bottom one remove those take the radiator hose back and pull the top shroud out. This will expose the fan.

Moving on now that the fan is exposed it's time for the fun part. If you have never had to remove the fan before than chances are its frozen on there. Two options one there is a tool you can rent that hold the water pump pulley in place. Two the way I went is leave the belt in place take a a chisel and hammer and put a notch in the bolt this gives a groove for the chisel to sit in that way you can lay it over and hit with the hammer and it won't slide off everytime. Now pound the chisel and the fan bolt will start to unscrew. Once you break it loose it should just spin right off. Throw that boat anchor in the trash and now you have gained access to the lower shroud pull it up out of the two clips in the radiator and remove it.

Now that you have all this room. It's time to crawl under. Locate the ac compressor there is a connector on it pull that apart and pull the wires out of the loom. Splice into the green wire this is the positive. Note you can splice into this by pulling the fuse block apart but I choose this route. Once the splice is complete route that up and out leave it hanging over the side. Well get back to that later.

Now pull the lid off the fuse box. There is a 90 degree bracket that bolts to the fire wall and quater panel remove that. Pull the cover off the fuse box. Disconnect the battery. Make up two 8 inch 10 gauge wires with eyelets and female blade connectors. Bolt these to one of the studs. Now connect them to 5 pin automotive relays. I know your wondering at this point huh where what. I will post pics of the relay and wiring diagram later on in the post

Now make up two more lengths of wire the same way. These will be for the grounds. Grab your tee and thermoswitch locate the small coolant hose that runs to the throttle body. I use two small hose pinch pliers then the hose is cut. Install the tee and screw in the thermoswitch remove the pliers. Connect a wire to the switch and route it out with the ac command wire that we talked about earlier. Make up two more lengths of wire about a foot and a half long with female blade connectors. Pit those in the corresponding places in the relays. Put them out of the way for now.

Grab your fans and install them. Now if you have a set like I do they drop right into place and bolt into the core support. If your using intrepid fans you will need to make some mounting brackets. Once the fans are in run the wires out and to the corresponding wires from the two relays. Now doing it like this will set up one fan on for the ac and one fan for when the coolant temp gets too high. Run your ac command and temp wires around to the relays once that is connected put the relays under the fuse box and put that back together.

Now connect the fan wires together coming from the relays. you need to clean up the wiring and loom it together. Reinstall the intake tube. Get in start the truck and verify one fan comes on when the ac is on. Let the truck run and verify the other comes on when the temp starts rising over 210. That's it now you have fully functioning e fans.

This is the tee the switch goes into. I could not find a pic of the one home depot Carrie's. It has barbs on either end. All you have to do is take your thermoswitch with you and pick out the right one.
