So the ignition switch went bad in my 02 Tahoe (stuck in 3rd gear, had the common trouble codes for a bad switch). I bought the wiring kit from the dealer and replaced it tonight. Once I got it back together I went to start it and no go. Everything works but when I turn the key it doesn't want to engage the starter. I noticed the orange security light was on now when I went to start it so I am assuming it needs to be reprogrammed. I found some instructions for the resetting the pass lock but wanted to make sure it was the problem before I mess anything up.

Thanks for the help!

EDIT Figured it out, had part of the wiring installed incorrectly, set off security light now and unfortunately didnt fix my tranny issues so on to the shop she goes.
