Dont let all those parts go to some random salvage yard.

Man, I just don't have the time anymore.

I am looking at a 2007 Yukon Denali. 6.2, 6 speed, AWD. If I get a fair payout and save for a while I can buy with cash. I can deal with high miles. Hell, I can rebuild a 6l80e if needed. I also have all the tuning hardware.

Not super pretty, but nice interior with possible NAV and backup camera. Prices are low if you look around.

A turbo 6.2 anyone?

Hmmmm....

I had the parts already so I replaced the knock sensors and harness because of a code being thrown. Plus if I end up keeping the Yukon I don't want engine damage from too much knock.

Mouse turds and dirt. Yum.

Crazy news. The insurance company is cutting a $7250 check and I get to KEEP my Yukon! Hot damn!

I just need to find a place to bend my rear frame up for cheap. It doesn't have to be perfect, just straight enough.

I've got a paint matching rear hatch on order for $200 from ebay. Then I need a bumper, rear tail light and then some body work on the dent in the quarter panel.

The hatch might not be perfect, but the paint matches.

Bad thing was the gate I had shipped was severely damaged in shipping. Both sides were crushed in. Its hard to find a paint matching gate. Damn.

Shes on the frame rack at the shop. I went over and took some pics. Goddamn it looks pretty good!

$500 frame, $180 new bumper, free mount.
$200 rear quarter panel pull and paint.

$880 so far out of a $7250 insurance check.

I still need to figure out a new lift gate....
