I am new to the forum and have found a 2002 Yukon Denali with about 98k miles for only 9 grand. I know the yukon and tahoes have been real reliable with tons of miles as my uncle has a denali thats got 130k+ miles. Everything on this one looks to be in good shape. I had the vin checked against gm's database and not much was returned in the realm of repairs. I know this only includes repairs done at dealerships but even within warranty there weren't any problems besides one here or there that wasn't anything major. I am curious how many miles people with 2002 Denalis had and any major repairs they had past 95000 miles.

And open to any advice you have.

i have 127k and counting, ive had it since 90k air ride suspension stop working and gear box needed replacement. The ditch the stock suspension and slammed it!!!! The little lights on steering wheel are always out and are pains to change. They only made those steering wheels one year i think. Love my truck tho, also just about ready to start moding it as well.

Thanks for the reply! If you dont mind me asking roughly how much did you pay for an 02 with 90k on it? And for the repairs? As much as I like the look and drive of these trucks I dont want to dump a ton of money right after purchasing into it in repairs

I sold my 03 Denali at 137k. No big issues to note. Had to do an ac compressor around 110k but that was about it. Solid vehicle, I miss it

I bought my 03 3 1/2 years ago, with 84,000 on it, for 13,5. I had them track down a bad bcm, and they replaced the windshield and breaks and throw in a new set of tires when I got it. They paid for all the repairs, which I was thrilled about. Since then I rebuilt the tranny at 99,000, and had to replace the rear a/c control module. Other than that it's been great. I have 137,000 on it now and it's running strong.

Anyone have to have the front differential rebuilt?

I think my Carrier bearings are going out. I have 104k on the clock.
