So today I finally installed my radio after an intermittent problem with the first radio not always playing any music. Thought it was the radio well it was not.

Off the second harness that goes to the tape deck or the back of the stock radio there is a Pink wire that needs to be powered off the amp power line out from the aftermarket deck. The 2 harness I got (both same) neither came with anything that says this. I did search a bit and found nothing about the factory amp needing power from this location. Well it is working now just thought I would share since I did not find anything.

This is a 02 non-bose with Analog on-star and factory sub.

Did you just cut the pink wire and splice it with the aftermarket harness or did you have an aftermarket harness that plugged into the smaller flat harness? I'm having the same problem right now.
