My '05 Yukon XL RPO codes...... My rear shock...... coil spring label.......
I have the ZW7 " Premium Smooth Ride"..... But not the "self adjusting Sachs "Nivomat" shocks.
The coil spring part number ( You might be lucky and still have the sticker on one of your rear springs)

I do NOT have the "self adjusting shock RPO > G65 code.
So, you just saved a bunch of money..... Just replace your shocks with the OEM standard premium shock.
They perform just fine.
(( I have the Hellwig sway bar.... works together well ))

G69 is NOT the Nivomat shock code, it's for air suspension:

G65 is the code for Nivomats.
Opps I miss-wrote..... I edited my post....
I guess my 'G80' is my premium shocks, not adjusting...
His RPO codes look like mine in that subject. ( The hidden code to left, seems , is like me, " GU6 " ( rear axle )

G80 is your rear axle. GU6 is the ratio (3.42:1).

You might want to stop quoting specific codes if they're just guesses. It just adds confusion.

I didnt realize my codes were unreadable. When i saw zw7, i figured it was nivomat. Now im confused. I can post another photo of the codes later. So....do yall think they are or arent nivomats? Certainly not air shocks. I stood on the rear bumper and tried to bounce the vehicle. Its really stiff. But last time i towed, it bounces a lot under load.

Take a photo of your shocks...... 1st photo are my new ZW7 'Premium Smooth Ride' ... standard factory shocks. ( regular width ). About $50.00..
2nd photo are Sachs / 'Nivomat' .. ZW7 , ' Premium Smooth Ride' 'self leveling shocks' ( self-contained / no air compressor ) , a larger width. About $400.00 (+ - )
Then there is a premium ZW7, leveling shock, with an air compressor fitting on the shock. ( I don't have a photo of that)
( My info may not be perfect, but just to give you an idea )

FLESS IS WATCHING ME...... He's better at this stuff, than, me.... :love51:

If you go to the dealer, and do a parts search for your ZW7, and using your VIN #, THIS WILL CONFUSE YOU EVEN MORE.... The drawing, AT THE DEALER, is for my ZW7 premium smooth ride / STANDARD shock.....( #540-433 ) But for some silly reason, the drawing, AT THE DEALER'S PARTS COMPUTER, shows an air fitting on the shock, even though, THAT shock does not have an air fitting.....
