2003 Chevy Tahoe 4.8 fuel issue

Does engine immediately restart after it stalls? If so then tape fuel pressure gauge to pillar where you can see the pressure. Take for a test drive and see if the fuel pressure actually does drop. Doesnt appear that you know that or not so how do you know this aint a loss of ignition problem?

It only drops when receding it goes from 45 to 51 then as rpm’s come down it goes to 40 then back to 45 at idle you just have missed the comment it can’t make it out of driveway

Ok before the start with key in acc 52 but when you start it then turn off instantly goes back to 0

Check valve in your fuel pump is bad or you got an injector hung open. Pull your oil dipstick. Does it smell of gas? Very remote possibility that the fuel filter is plugging up too.

I’ve had two different pumps in it both did same thing the oil smells like oil checked today

Your Fuel pressure going instantly to zero after you turn the key off is the tattletale. You have a leaking fuel line, pump or injector(s). That fuel pressure should not drop to zero. I bet its hard to start each time you cold start it (it does not immediately start up but has to crank over quite a few times or you have to hit the key a 2nd time)?
