2003+ Sierra Bumper/Grille swap

New here, figured I would start off with something useful.

Did the swap using 2005 Sierra 2500 HD stuff. Cut the HD spacer off the grill, cut all stock bumper brackets off the Kon. Took it right down to the frame rails. Ended up using the Sierra 2500HD brackets (re-drilled and raised) and using the 2500HD bumper support brackets (flipped to oppsite sides)

Anyway, came out pretty good, have a new valence on the way, threw up the junk one for looks. Definately harder than it looked. If I did it again, I would investigate Sierra 1500 brackets.

Looks good. To conclude the hd look, you should get the hd hood off chevy and trim it to fit your lights. Would look good i think, but looks good as is..

HD look is no where near done yet...Just finished building a Jeep, so now the DD gets some love.

Plans by the end of summer:
Tint Front windows
Extendable Sierra towing mirrors
Remove running boards and side trim

Future plans:
99-02 Silverado HD hood
H2 rear end
Dodge 3/4 ton front unit bearings
The above two will allow me to run 8-lug 2500 wheels

You have pics of the HD mirrors on the yukon yet? I'm thinking of doing them on my tahoe.

Been a while guys, sorry. Tint is done, Bumper painted, running boards removed, and just put on a set of tow mirrors tonight. They are the smaller towing mirrors for now. Just need to find a pass side large mirror and I'll swap them out.

Looks pretty good. Different. Those mirrors arent bad looking either. Not to big. Need some fogs id say though..
