Thanks. The trick is to feather out the edges first with 600 grit paper. Some say you need to adhesion promote the plastic first... (i do custom paint/airbrushing for a living just for reference) and my experience if you just clean the surface well with a degreaser you won't have any adhesion issues. I believe the Color coat has a adhesion promoter already in the paint which helps.

You do that all without having to remove your dash? I'm contemplating doing this but I'm debating on whether I should remove my dash to do it or just leave it in?

I removed the bezel. And taped up the vents/radio areas. If you know how to spray you shouldn't have an issue. If u get overspray on the window it'll come off with a razor. I paint for a living so it was a pretty simple job.

Wow that came out looking great Jay. I may have to look into this SEM paint for mine as it has a few wear spots.

Jay, did you use SEM Graphite #15303 Color Coat to match the GM Charcoal dash?
