Hello, just got this Tahoe a week ago. Doing some general mait on it.
1) How do you get the trans drain plug out if its so tight that a impact wont touch it? Also, how do you get to the pan bolts that are under the shift cable?
2)How big a deal is it to replace the trans cooler lines that go to the radiator? Mine does have the aux cooler up front.
3)What is the best rear diff fluid to use? Also, it is the limited slip model so does it require friction modifier? I have been told several different things.
4)How hard is it to replace the right front axle tube seal? I am fairly good with tools and usually do my owne work.
Thanks in advance for ANY info.

As for the trans drain bolt I had to use a chisel to jar it loose ,It does not need to be tha t dam tight ,I had to buy a new one as the old one got messed up.I think just a good snug should be enough. In the rear and front diff. i use Amsoil 75/90 i have never had a problem with the locking diff sticking.

I agree. The drain plug is WAY to tight. When you got yours out, did it mess the pan up any? Threads, etc?
