Came across a 2003 Tahoe z71. Black 126k. Runs well interior is very good. One rust spot behind rear drivers side wheel about size of a hand... what should I check for.. what should I pay? Always have had the 88-99 k1500 models

https://www.kbb.com/chevrolet/tahoe...true|4118580|true|6477599|true&condition=good So that is your private party value in good condition,with a big rust hole in the panel you can decide if you think that is good or fair condition i would say fair.I put in all options leather sun roof-you didnt state you options.Overall mechanical condition is important on these-or you will be spending alot to get suspension,brakes,fluids etc done.I would have a inspection done if your serious about it and go from their.If it needs nothing mechanically i would say 4000-5000 maybe more-if it needs alot of work deduct from their.

Im at 2200. So it leaves me some wiggle room. There are some little issues it’s a chevy[emoji1744]‍[emoji3603]

please check for pending codes, buy borrow a scanner if you dont have one. Electrical gremlins can be fixed but you can get the asking price lowered if you see pending codes.

btw i live in the south and paid too much for a Burb with 120k. I paid 5k but i had to got though my credit union and a local dealer, if i ad cash i would have paid 4k
