My 03 Yukon has the problem where the ABS kicks in at a low speed stop, thus far opnly when it seems I am turned left when coming to a slow turn/stop/park. I have googled this and seems it is comon issue with sensors. is there a fuse to shut down the ABS till I can look at this. From what I read if they sensors get stuck they can break off and they are not cheap to fix? The truck feels like it wont stop when it does this.

On mine the ABS fuse is one of the **** fuses, to the right of the STUD1 fuse under the hood. Pretty sure if you pull the ABS fuse you'll disable it.

Yup. Pull the ABS fuse and it wont go into antilock until its replaced. The wheel speed sensors cant get "stuck". They are built into the wheel hub assembly and unserviceable. What can happen is the abs pump stays on and burns itself up. It is not rated for 100% duty cycle.

You sure about the speed sensors? I know I can buy them for my Denali at least.

from what I have read is that the sensors in the hub can be replaced.
As for the ABS pump, taking fuse out for ABS that pump still operates and can burn out??? Have not heard or read that one

Take the fuse out for now so you don't rear end someone or drive into the intersection. The fuse is in the fuse box under the hood. Im sure you can read the diagram and pick the correct fuse. When you pull it and turn truck on .., the ABS light will come one. and the Parking Brake light as well. (I believe thats what will happen as thats what my 2002 does)

Sensors are removable 100% on my 2002.

However when you buy a new hub/bearing assembly they come with new sensors.

You should verify which sensor is bad. For about $45 you can buy a new sensor. Not hard to change. Unless you have access to scan tool to watch abs sensor voltage while driving you could just change both and have two brand new sensors taking care of the issue for some time!

If your front bearings inside the "hub assembly" are making noise or you don't know when they were replaced you could change the hub assembly and as I said above it would come complete with a new sensor. That will cost you more money. Hub assembly cost roughly $200-$300 a piece?

You read that totally wrong. No the pump will NOT operate wihtout supply voltage. (Aka the fuse).
