I have the same issue on mine, but do not use the lights enough to justify the additional modification.

All I do when the lights are on and dim, I pull the sun visor down and open the vanity mirror and voila, the lights turn bright. :)

That is my "cheesy" fix to the issue.

Like I mentioned earlier, you would only need to get canbus style light bulbs for the lights with their own switches. I did my whole interior lighting in our denali a few years back with cheapy ebay bulbs for about $25 and ended up with extras! Just find and order only those bulbs for the lights that you use the separate switch for and you should be good to go and very happy with the result!

These are the style I'm running in my map lights and the other 194 style bulbs in my truck only mine are white. If you are unsure if it will solve your problem, buy 1 or 2 and give them a try before you order more!

Ok, well my issue is that if my map lights are on and I turn on either the curtesy lights, lights with its own switch or the rotating switch the map light go out and I have no door lights at all.

Could be the Canbus issue or perhaps LED light quality. Sometimes the cheap eBay lights just don't work very well, by are still cheaper than suoerbrightleds.com lights and worth a try to trade out.

Maybe try the Canbus ones to see if that corrects issue?

I'm going to try them out, I've had the cheap leds in for well over a year and this just started yesterday. Someone on another thread suggested it might be my engine ground. I'll test that first

Ok so I haven't tried the cannister lights yet and I checked my engine ground seemed ok. I found that when any of my lights; map, dome, etc are on and I switch on the interior lights with the dimmer switch all lights go out and puddle lights come on. So I did a volt test and there was a volt drop from 11.58 to 3.4 I also found that regular bulbs won't work at all in my dome or map sockets. And no current at all in the doors.
