2003 Yukon radio

I have a 2003 Yukon radio plays randomly and chime doesn’t work only when at times radio turns on then chime works. Is this a problem with ground

Mine does same thing. I had read that it had to do with a failing Bose amp or something cold sensitive. I replaced the amp with a used amp and got the same results. After a while, the speakers and chimes etc start working. Not sure where I am going with this next.
