so basically canbus for lights i can turn on with a button. regular LED for the ones that turn on without button?

Based on that thread and my experience yes.

I had some superbrightleds that were not canbus and they were 1/2 strength if just pushing the map button.

I recently swapped over to some blue LEDs off of eBay and the same effect.

Doesn't really bother me, but may be worth a go with the canbus to see if that solves that little issue.

I have noticed that they are a little dim when clicking them on compared to when the dome lights are turned on. Never knew that's what the reason was.

Read through the thread and the info here is good! Lol. I did the led interior bulb swap as well. And I love them. Very bright, mine have a slight blueish hue which I personally like. I notice that when I click button for the map light, which is not very often, but it's super dim. But when it comes on with the dome light it's bright. I always wondered why they did that. I went with regular bulbs not the canbus. Now I know why haha.

Not big accomplishment but I managed to swap out all bulbs to LED. Not dash lights yet that's a whole other ballpark.... lol.

I got natural white.
