Hey all,

I am new here and wanted to pose a question to you guys. I am looking into buying a 2003 Yukon SLT. It's a one owner, but the only possible downside is that the truck has 266k miles on it. It seems to be in prime condition, runs great, and interior has wear you would expect from that many miles. Just wondering what anyone's general take was on this truck. Thanks!

That's a lot of miles for a 2003. I'd pass and look for one with less miles. Good luck.

Unless you can get it for next to nothing i`d stay away. But if it`s really cheap you can spend the money you save on the price for the inevitable repairs it`s going to need.

I sold my 00 Sierra with 310k on it for 3k. Same wear and tear. I definitely wouldn't pay more than that

I just bought a 2002 Yukon SLT 4x4 with the 5.3 V8 and 215k miles from the original owner. They are all highway miles (documented) and he had all the service records from day 1. It's in excellent condition and seems to have no major issues other than the ABS module will need to be replaced. I paid $4100

Go for it for the right price! If you're handy with repairs yourself you can get another 100K miles out of it. I bought a non running Z28 with 239k miles on it that the owner told me needed a fuel pump. Turned out to just need spark plugs and I've been driving it ever since for next to nothing
