Hello all

I am new to the Yukon. Currently own for the last 5 years an old 93 Z71.
I have notices that when I am coming to a moderate hard stop when turning the wheel that the ABS is engaging. More so on wet pavement but has done it on dry also. Typically does it if I am doing a bit more then a normal type of stop, maybe a bit more in speed, and turning left. Doesn't seem to do it turning right nearly as easy. Is this a quirk of this vehicle? I know little to nothing of these trucks.

Thanks

Tim

Jack wheel up off the ground and see if you have alot of vertical play in wheel. If you do...it the hub assembly bad which is where the sensor is for the ABS.

Grab tire at 12 oclock and 6 oclock and push at 12 and 6 at the same time and see if it rocks back and forth. Pushing at 9 and 3 will check your tire rods and idler and pitman arm.

I too have this problem in my 03 Denali it's lower speeds and tight corners it scares the crap out of me when it happens. Usually it's when I'm taking a tight corner coasting if you find the solution please post it up.
