My 04 Hoe with the 5.3ltr seams like it takes forever to warm up. Ive started it and let it idle to defrost the windows, or what not letting it run for up to 30min before. If I drive it it will eventually warm fully up (temp gauge straight up and down), but even still the heat just seams not as hot as it should. If I grab the top rad hose it is hot. The bottom was stone cold even after driving to work this morning (about 12miles). The heater hoses are fairly warm, and there was coolant in the tank (and no signs of coolant in the oil). The water pump is fairly new (shortly before I bought it), and I would assume they put a thermostat in it at the same time, but I guess I can't be certain. Are these trucks nortorously cold blooded, or do I have something going on here? I know it was fridged cold here this am, but I've still noticed it even when it isn't so cold out....
