5 minute mods are the best. Now I have a top brake light, yayyy for not getting rear ended hopefully.



Also just ordered a standalone IAT sensor so I can ditch the MAF. I think I'm gonna ditch the AFE intake tube as well I never really liked it because it came with a huge notch where the factory clutch fan shroud would need to fit. So carbon fibre or metal tube from intakehoses.com will be ordered along with new silicone couplers and spring clamps because they look cool!

Anybody know the best epoxy to bond an aluminum bung to carbon fiber? @Rocket Man I know you've dabbled in many different epoxies.

Hmmm never bonded those two materials so I’m not sure.

Should be very similar to fiberglass. I figured acid etch the aluminum and scuff the CF real well. Might try Locktite 9017 it's been good for me in the past.

you can prob find a 1/8 or 1/4 npt bulk head fitting, i dont remember what the thread size is

Yep, that's exactly what I was planning to do. I figured the bulkhead fitting would sit weird on the rounded CF tube. Then again so will the little aluminum bung I have so IDK. I'm kinda thinking about drilling the NNBS intake manifold instead.

let me check around, i bought some off ebay that came curved for tube install, but they just had a hose barb no threads

if its just on the intake pre-supercharger, no pressure on it the carbon fiber may hold a few threads enough to hold the sensor
