let me check around, i bought some off ebay that came curved for tube install, but they just had a hose barb no threads

The other problem is I want to make sure the open-element actually gets into the air stream for accurate readings. I've been drawing blanks on my google searches, all I keep ending up here https://shearerfabrications.com/:jester:

if its just on the intake pre-supercharger, no pressure on it the carbon fiber may hold a few threads enough to hold the sensor

Forgot to respond to your bottom half. It's going on the Tahoe which is NA so no real pressure but the CF is super crazy thin I don't think it would take even 1 full thread.

Good question. Not really sure. Honestly, I've never really looked at the Z71 valance.

I'll have to do some research I know @05Single has one just gotta dig through his thread for the eleventeenth time.

I would think as long as it has the return lip at the bottom it should

I haven't even looked to see how the lips would attach. Is it little plastic push pop dudes? Or J clips?

03 up had a molded ‘plastic clip’ on the return lip that goes back towards the motor and the dam clipped on then 2 screws at each fender. My 01 didn’t have the molded clips so I just drilled a few holes at those locations (backside) and a few p-ties and done. I’m not sure if you can fit it on that z71 one tho. Looks like the plastic ‘skid plate’ portion may prevent it.

I'll have to look tonight you might be right about that center area. I can't have the lip falling off I do a considerable amount of off-roading it won't last if it's not 100% secure.
