I've always wanted a straight 6 BMW for thrashing around, same with a honda I just dislike FWD, and S2000s/NSXs are way too expensive to abuse. Motorcycles definitely win the highest rpm award but I can't get one I'll end up dead or worse. :greenchainsaw:

I personally don't want a rotary because they require ridiculous life support systems or they fail. Plus everything that comes with one is too small for me, my hair touches the roof of that RX7.

I'm not super familiar with the American Police Tahoe suspension but I think it's close to a 1/2 drop, they just look lower because they run really small tires. They do ride pretty good though especially the new 2020s.

I like everything about my current height except that I'm too tall for the rear liftgate and occasionally forget until I smack my head into it.
BMW has rwd but I guess you know. But if you take a non M, they rarely have a lsd, and those are quite expensive. BMW is still my favorite brand and I really hope to be able to afford a e46 M3 some day. If not, a 330i or something will be joining the Hoe for sure, but with all the plans in mind for the Tahoe now, that will be something for years ahead.. But also talking about going lower, that are cars which makes sense to lower more then a 4x4.

But to trash around you could look at a BMW e36, if they are a little affordable, prices here getting ridiculously for the 6 cilinders ones...

I’m with you with the rotary, it’s beautiful technology on paper but to unreliable, too expensive to fix etc etc.

Oh yeah that is something to thing about also, since it is my work Hoe with all the gear in the back, I’m not that tall though ;)

Yes I like the height of those. I’m planning to drop the front a little with the stock keys and a 2 inch lowering kit for the back.

My original suspension was just the keys de-cranked all the way, and Eibach 3" lowering springs in the rear. Ran stock shocks and it actually rode pretty good until I shoehorned the bigger axle in and it started having clearance issues in the rear. Don't de-crank all the way and get a 2" spring or a 3" spring with a 1" spacer and it would probably ride good still.

Yes I only want 1/2 to 1 inch in the front, and 2 inch Eibach in the rear. In April I will have MOT and there is something wrong with my suspension/drivetrain parts. So if I need new springs, it will be Eibach, need new shocks, I will do Bilstein. But will see what I will end up with, you never know with USA parts in NL. The Bilstein Eibach isn't a problem though.

Sounds like a good plan to me!

So after some extended spirited driving time, I think I may have been overcomplicating the odd steering issue. Before I thought letting off the throttle was actually pushing it to the left but now I think It's just pulling right during acceleration and I'm correcting more than I realize. Then when I stop accelerating it stops pushing right therefore causing my correction to steer the truck to the left. All of this I think maybe caused by the super wacked out alignment, the previous issue was just worn-out ball joints causing the truck to wander.

Other thoughts from the spirited driving are that the truck corners much better than I ever expected it to and some new springs from @73Vetteman came in so I can play around with different springs to try and dial the rear ride quality to how I want.
