Last night my bromigo brought his RX7 over to show off his recent ceramic coat and carbon fiber bits. This car is so clean I try to stay 15 feet away.

Damn what a nice RX7!! Really hope to drive one some day, so keen to know and feel how a rotary car rides, let alone the car itself how it drives!

Edit: btw, it will be somewhere in your thread, but how much did you lower your Tahoe?

The rotary is interesting its the exact opposite of a V8 absolutely no balls until it spools and then runs up to 9k rpm screaming, everytime I'm in it I keep thinking "OMG shift this thing before it blows up" the suspension he has on it is top notch, heck the whole car is pretty top notch. But it only made 320hp and I think his Denali might actually be faster lol.

Best estimate on my Tahoe drop is a total of 2-3" in the front and 3" in the rear. Not very low at all but I like ride quality and I push the limits of where a 2wd truck should probably go.

Haha yes exactly. Well before my Tahoe I had a few higher revving cars like a 98 BMW 323i 6 in line, which is probably the second smoothest engines after rotaries. Also had a 95 Honda Del Sol Vtec so that was around 8k rpm. And now just got my motorcycle license, I imagine the rotary engine being like a smooth 4 cilinder motorcycle or something :D And the sound is so awesome in higher RPM. Actually just reminds me of yesterday when I saw my yt video revving my 2.5 liter 6 in line BMW 323i Coupe.

Ok cool. Well is sits very nice. I’m looking for a 1/2 drop with my 18 inch rims coming on. Really like the usability of the height of the Tahoe and the advantages is gives in the Netherlands haha.

I've always wanted a straight 6 BMW for thrashing around, same with a honda I just dislike FWD, and S2000s/NSXs are way too expensive to abuse. Motorcycles definitely win the highest rpm award but I can't get one I'll end up dead or worse. :greenchainsaw:

I personally don't want a rotary because they require ridiculous life support systems or they fail. Plus everything that comes with one is too small for me, my hair touches the roof of that RX7.

I'm not super familiar with the American Police Tahoe suspension but I think it's close to a 1/2 drop, they just look lower because they run really small tires. They do ride pretty good though especially the new 2020s.

I like everything about my current height except that I'm too tall for the rear liftgate and occasionally forget until I smack my head into it.

Cool I see you’re also considering the Torqstorm sc. It looks very good on yt and really like the design and simplicity! Maybe you could buy one in the near future so you can show it of, helping me staying at home reading it while not spending money to save for the SC :D:D

I was really close to buying one about a year ago and spoke to their excellent customer service. I was actually looking at a preowned kit and they said they would still honor the lifetime warranty which I thought was fantastic! The only reason I'm kinda steering away from it now is I'd actually like to quiet this truck down a lot, ditch the headers for cast manifolds, and a medium-sized turbo setup with towing in mind should make it really quiet again but also have more than enough power. But It will likely be another year or 2 before I actually boost it, need to finish my other truck and some other life projects. Plus I don't think this motor would be a good candidate the bottom end is sort of a mystery from the previous owner.

But my buddy with the RX7 has been wanting a twerkstorm since he got his Denali and he has more money than me so that's a possibility.
