Saw this on IG. Put that ***** on the limiter!

Oh yeah I'm not afraid of bouncing it off the limiter. In that video I had the 2 step set to 5k because it's been throwing the AC belt anytime I bounce the limiter at 6k. I have a stretch fit belt to fix that problem just haven't had time to put it on. Honestly I thought I did better than next time I'll let it sit and roast.

Are you also planning on an 8 rib setup sometime in the future?

Already full Innovators West billet 8 rib with ZPE griptec blower pulleys. Crank is triple pinned and I have the blower hub crank pulley upgrade. Spent as much on pulleys as I did the PRC heads. I was tired of shredding 6 rib belts and having top end belt slip.

Need to pulley down and hit 10-12psi

Alright still haven't made any more progress on the swap or anything Tahoe related for that matter. Been making a list of things I'd like to do while the axle is out.

Things I will for sure do:
-Free travel mod
-Airbags

Things I'm contemplating:
-Adjustable dampening shocks?
-Delete spare tire carrier

Anyone have any input on things that should be done now since it will be apart and easy to work with?

This weekend I lost first gear! Well that's what it felt like but really the shifter just got so loose it wouldn't engage 1st. Strange because I just put the Hurst shifter in a few months ago. Turns out the spacer between the shifter and transmission completely degraded and fell apart. Not sure what would cause that as it's an OEM part and I'm using OEM gear oil. I bought a second new one so I can find a piece of poly urethane, plastic or nylon and make my own spacer that won't fall apart.

Anyway new spacer and new correct sized bolts rather than the nut spacer jerry rigged crap I should have replaced the first time. I also used red loctight this time.

Also wiped the engine bay down and did a basic inspection.
