@pwtr02ss wins! It weighed 5540! Good guess both your guesses were technically correct ;)

That's just not nice! This thing has zero rust! My RCSB is a different story.
Oh yeah, I was talking about the pickemup. Sorry I forget which one we’re talking about at times.

So what added the 500 lbs? Is the trans that heavy?

I think last I weighed the RCSB was 4860 so your spot on there!

I think the trans weighs right at 200# and a 4l60 is 130#, the 14b definantly added a considerable amount because I can manhandle a 10b by myself but can barely budge a 14b. the sway bars weigh a considerable amount more than stock as does all the sound deadening, subwoofer, big wheels/tires, and big exhaust.

Look at me go.

It has 14 bolt rear (?), iron block, I assume the 5 speed isn't a ton lighter than the 60, all your fancy upgrades, full tank, and the 150lbs of gear.

Glad I was close. I'll take my reward....later...

Edit:I forget it probably had iron block to start with. Mine is aluminum and messing with the camaro, people always bitching about added weight of the iron block when swapping to 6.0

Edit 2. I didn't see your reply to Mark before typing all of that. Biggest thing that surprised me was the 5 speed being heavier than the 60. Interesting

Gotta remember this is a trans commonly found in Ram and Chevy 3500s, 4l60s are meant for a vette or Camaro. Main difference in weight is probably the aluminum housing vs the solid cast iron anvil housing lol.

So I weighed everything I removed to be about 200# I weigh 230 fully clothed with a Gat, and pocket accessories. By the time I tow a trailer all the way to work then an hour across town to the strip I’ll be down to 3/4 tank of gas or less so let’s say 5540 is my race weight give or take 20#. If that’s correct and this thing makes 400crank horse power the goal should be to run a 13.9. That’s what the Weight/HP=ET calculator tells me.

So my other guess is a little closer:)
