might be a dumb question...but you are putting the gasketed washer under the fitting right? i was under the assumption that the tubing itself was just pressed/swedged under the peanut to seal at the washer. where it goes thru the aluminum peanut isnt really meant to be a sealed joint the tubing is never actually broken if that makes sense, the peanut is just there to retain it

Huh maybe I need to try using the sloppy stranger for the next time I weld.

Yes I even have a lot of OEM washers and every single time I’ve had the lines off I replace them. Hard to get a good pic but here’s the washer that was just on it.

I thought you said that’s the third OEM line that’s leaked though? Unless you’re getting counterfeit shit.

It is, back in spring when it leaked in stock configuration I welded where I believed it was leaking from. Turns out my welds are as bad as the OEM press fitting.

Maybe he should try the cheap shit?

Funny I basically always buy cheap shit and it almost always works, this is one of the only OEM parts I’ve bought.
