My thoughts:
You already have a blower, so switch it up and go turbo.
The Silverado is a 4x4 so the instant torque from the blower makes sense here. And it's already installed.
The turbo on the Tahoe makes more sense because it's your daily so you can hear them cool noises err'day and the slight bit of lag might help not blow the tires off so easily since it only has two wheels pushing it.
...Never heard of Torqstorm. Googling...
I agree the silverado needs to torque to blow the 35s off in 3rd from a stop. It will be daily driven as much as the Tahoe once it's back to full operational status. I'm looking around at cams now and refuse anything that will ruin driveability. The 224/228 is so good in the Tahoe.
I do agree turbo for 2wd street truck and cool noises while possibly maintaining reasonable gas mileage where the silverado gets 10mpg downhill with a tail wind and the engine off.
Torqstorms are basically a more affordable and better setup than a base procharger kit. Max HP is around 700hp but that's more than enough. I like that it's a independent 8 rib belt drive that doesn't interact with the accessory serpentine belt at all. I spent alot of money in an innovators west kit to go 8rib with my silverado and the torqstorm kit includes it. The IAT from the head unit on full tilt is very low with an average sized air to air intercooler too.
It will really all depend on what shows up for sale used. I like buying used stuff for some dumb reason. Also I might just leave the Tahoe as is and build a ratty muscle car with a high rpm ls with a turbo and a Haltech elite 2500 ecu. I really like the haltechs.
