Hope everyone had a good holiday! I used mine to knock over a shed, open up my drive way, and do some fence repairs! Made several trips around town pick up supplies and hauling junk off. All was going great until tonight on my way home I noticed head lights of a Corolla stuck down a sandy road about a half a mile from the house. Being that it's a holiday weekend I figured I would grab the winch and go attempt a rescue!

Made it about 30feet down the sandy road backing up trying to get just close enough the winch rope would reach, but then I buried it :banghead:.

Ended up having to call a neighbor who rescued the Amazon driver I was attempting to save and my own stupid self. My excuse is that I thought the S in Nitto 420s (the tires I have) stood for Sand rated :jester:. Jk I'm just dumb

P.S. I want my damn silverado back already!

This particular road claims at least one victim a week, GPS sends people down it instead of the perfectly good paved road that gets you to the same spot. Its even got the fire department in their tanker truck lol.

I've secretly been wanting to try to bomb the Tahoe down it to see how it would do, I got my answer today:fc5716bd:

Don't your Brakes get all full of sand. Might seem like a dumb question but we don't have sand like that.

It just falls right off once you get out of it, no harm done. If anything it's kinda fun, I could put it in first gear get out of the truck and watch the tires spin helplessly lol.
