2004 Chevy Tahoe - Driver side front tire - sounds like it is grinding when I lift the tire and spin the wheel by hand. This morning, leaving my house I heard a clunk noise.
I immediately stopped and check for anything broken or hanging down (it sounded like something broke), but I couldn't see anything. When I started driving (slowly) again. I could hear a scraping sound and it felt like the brakes were sticking... I added a little gas and as the Tahoe moved, it felt like the momentum "broke" lose the brakes. I stopped and check the outside of the Tahoe again, but nothing.
I check the brakes and they worked just fine. When I started moving again (under 5mph), it would happen again. I can shift to drive and take my foot off the brake pedal and the Tahoe would roll forward about 5 feet then stop (as if I pressed the brake pedal). When I would give it some gas, it would "break" loose and then I would roll another 5-10 feet and then it would "brake" again.
Any ideas?
